The position

Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that various types of process equipment - from small to large - are maintained, calibrated, and perform reliably and in a qualified state at any time

  • Systematic problem-solving

  • Dealing with deviations and change requests

  • Recurring system evaluations

  • Supporting with diverse equipment design and qualification

You will have the possibility to influence the development and get reliable insight into the workflows and procedures. You succeed by being visible, proactive, and independent. We work with LEAN principles and offer an opportunity to engage and take part in cross-organisational tasks and problem-solving. You will thereby influence the processes and contribute to the professionalism across a broad organisational area


You hold a Master´s degree in science, engineering or any other relevant degree or educational background. Flair for technical solutions, and a proficiency level in both written and spoken Danish is a pre-requisite

A solution-oriented mindset is key as we constantly focus on improvements and standardisation processes due to expansion of facilities and increasing production capacity

Furthermore, the following will be considered an advantage:

  • Experience within operating and maintaining plants

  • Insight into GMP or working in a regulated environment

  • Knowledge of operating systems, as large parts of our equipment are controlled and monitored via DeltaV or Sattline

  • Experience with SAP, change requests, requirement specifications, validation and test, as well as deviations

About the department

We are 67 employees in the department in CMC API Pilots, divided into four teams, three facilities, and two locations. Our task is to scale up processes and purify proteins for toxicological and clinical studies. We are part of the Novo Nordisk Research & Early Development (R&ED) family, developing novel analysis for drug candidates in clinical trials all over the world.

You will be a part of a team of academics and principal technicians, whose tasks are to ensure stable operation of production equipment and participate in the design, validation, and commissioning of equipment. The team works closely with skilled project staff, chemists, process technicians and calibration technicians
